Jewel Auditor
Jewel Auditor is a Jewel product Designed specifically to assist in:
1. Auditing 2. Jewel tech support for the end user 3. Manage Jewel Monthly Backups etc.
Jewel Auditor is a powerful auditing and Jewel database correction tool. Auditor can access both the conference Auditor server (where databases go when a treasurer "Sends to Auditor") and the conference backup server (where Jewel's month-end backups go when the treasurer "Sends Backup to Conference"). Databases can be downloaded, modified, then uploaded for the treasurer to "Receive from Auditor".
Auditor can do everything that Jewel does. The "front end" of Auditor looks just like Jewel, and can be used in all the same ways that Jewel can, plus more. This is the part of Auditor that should be used whenever possible. For example, while Jewel users are restricted to the current month, Auditor users can also edit transactions in previous months.
The "back end" of Auditor, accessed by clicking "Auditor" in the center of the Home Page, is a powerful database editing tool. The back end allows you to delete or edit any transaction in any month, change Jewel's current month, adjust the NextStep button, change beginning balances, add/remove transactions from bank reconciliations, and so on.
